Who are we, and what do we do?
Talis is a dynamic, innovative, established technology and software provider. We’re best known for providing library management systems to academic institutions – something we’ve been doing for over 40 years, which means we pre date Microsoft. We are the market leaders in what we do and are the only UK based provider of library management systems.
However, we’re not just applying our expertise in the library domain. We are a constantly evolving company and are heavily involved within the education, Linked Data and Semantic Web arenas. We feel passionately about the effect these arenas will have on education, and the way users interact with the web. As a company we are inspired by the difference the web can make to people’s lives and this is reflected in everything we do. In short - we want to change the world by sharing data.
